HOST INFORMATION
PARTNERING WITH YOU TO REACH YOUR COMMUNITY

ABOUT US
WHO WE ARE
Child Evangelism Fellowship Omaha is the local branch of an international organization that is focused on reaching unchurched children with the Gospel.
WHAT IS A
SUMMER GOOD NEWS CLUB
Summer Good News Club is an action-packed Bible club that meets for 90 minutes a day for four consecutive days. Each day is filled with exciting games, Bible story, memory verses, snacks and prizes.
WHY HOST A
SUMMER GOOD NEWS CLUB
Summer Good News Club is a simple and effective way to reach unchurched children with the Gospel right in your neighborhood. Because clubs are fully portable, they can be hosted in backyards or neighborhood parks, helping connect you with families in your community. Last year, dozens of individuals and 56 churches partnered with CEF Omaha to reach over 4,000 children.
Our mission is to work alongside the local church to evangelize boys and girls, disciple them in the Word of God and establish them in a local church.

Using the promotional tools provided, invite kids to attend club! Post online (Facebook, neighborhood groups, etc) and canvass the neighborhood 2-5 days before club for best results. Please prayerfully and faithfully work to recruit children to attend your club.

This includes chairs/blankets for kids to sit on, a table to place teaching materials, and a hose for water games. Club can be held anywhere you choose, but having area for games separate from the teaching area is helpful. An inside option due to intense heat or rain is appreciated.
RECORD ATTENDANCE:
Prior to your club start date, you should receive an attendance sheet. Use this for registration. Contact info can be recorded for emergency and your personal follow-up with children/families.

SUMMER GOOD NEWS CLUB
90 MINUTE SCHEDULE

Our Summer Good News Club schedule is intentionally designed to keep kids active, focused, and engaged from start to finish. We begin with high energy games to help children feel welcomed and connected right away. Even during content times like the memory verse and Bible lesson, kids are involved and moving, not just sitting and listening. The flow of the schedule helps build real relationships while clearly teaching biblical truth, and at the center of it all is the Gospel message. Everything we do points to helping children understand who Jesus is and what He has done for them.

IS HOSTING A SGNC
RIGHT FOR ME?
Hosting a Summer Good News Club may be a great fit if you have a heart for helping children in your neighborhood know Jesus and a desire to connect with local families.
Clubs are often most successful when hosts have relationships with neighborhood kids or have children who can help invite friends and create a welcoming environment.
Because parents may be hesitant to send their children to an unfamiliar home, personal invitations, conversations with parents, and kids engaging their neighbors make a big difference.
Even if you do not have existing connections, trust God’s leading. If you sense Him prompting you to step out in faith, we would love to come alongside you as you live out the Great Commission in your own Jerusalem.
