What is CYIA Support Track?

Christian Youth in Action Support Track is an effort to bridge the gap between our children’s clubs ministries (GNC, SGNCs) and being able to begin to lead them. But like CYIA, it exists to develop LEADERS by challenging students to GROW in their relationship with Jesus and to TRAIN AND EQUIP them to share the GOSPEL with children in their community.

what does a week at CYIA Support Track look like?

CYIA Support Track is a daytime training experience for students who are ready to grow as helpers and leaders in ministry. Designed to prepare them for serving alongside CYIA leaders, Support Track gives students structured opportunities to learn, practice, and demonstrate what it means to support a Summer Good News Club well.

Support Track runs June 22–25, 2026, from approximately 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. each day. Throughout the week, students participate in activities, classes, and practice sessions that build practical leadership skills and reinforce responsibility, teamwork, and care for others.

Students will learn a simple, clear presentation of the Gospel and how to share it with others using the Wordless Book and their Bible. By the end of the week, students will have demonstrated readiness to assist leaders and serve children effectively during Summer Good News Clubs.

Frequently asked questions

Below are answers to some common questions families have about CYIA Support Track. If you don’t see your question addressed here, we’d be happy to help.

WHAT WILL MY CHILD LEARN?

Your child will learn the Gospel, how to support a Summer Good News Club, how to help lead songs, and how to assist with games in a meaningful and responsible way.

WILL IT BE TOO DIFFICULT?

Kids are what we do! CEF Omaha’s Support Track is led by CEF staff with decades of combined ministry experience. Classes are taught at an age-appropriate level, with encouragement and guidance built in.

WILL MY CHILD BE HELPING AT A CLUB DURING THAT WEEK?

Yes. Students move from learning to practice each day. After morning classes, they apply what they’ve learned during afternoon club time, with responsibility growing throughout the week in a safe and supportive environment.

ARE THERE SCHOLARSHIPS AVAILABLE?

Yes. Our heart is that no child misses Support Track because of cost. If this is a concern, please reach out and we will work with your situation. Please do not let cost be a barrier.
